2009 Becker-Posner "Blog" Luncheon Series

On the first Wednesday of every month, alums with a particular interest in economics and finance gather to explore and debate current issues of public policy.  The starting point is based on selected articles by Gary Becker and Richard Posner published at www.becker-posner.com, but once the discussion begins, the room quickly fills with thoughtful, provocative, and creative discussion.  Representative topics include the Government's Response to the Financial Crisis, and Aspects of Healthcare Reform.  Participants enjoy a thought-provoking discussion, a chance to expand their network through substantive discussions with other alums, with lunch thrown in as well.
